About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive membership growth by building strong community relationships
- Develop strategic partnerships and generate qualified leads
- Convert prospective girls and volunteers into active Girl Scout members
- Develop local networks and identify opportunities for growth
- Collaborate across departments to ensure a seamless path into Girl Scouts
- Execute territory-based growth strategies using demographic data and market trends
- Build and maintain relationships with schools, municipalities, libraries, businesses, and cultural organizations
- Represent Girl Scouts at community meetings and recruitment events
- Generate and manage prospective leads ensuring effective conversion
- Execute local recruitment initiatives aligned with strategic plans
- Analyze data to monitor lead activity and evaluate effectiveness
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience
- Experience in sales, business development, recruitment, partnership development, community outreach or account management preferred
- Knowledge of Girl Scout policies and procedures preferred
- Proficiency in a second language is preferred (Spanish and/or Korean are highly valued)
- Demonstrated success building relationships with diverse communities and community partners
- Strong organizational, written, verbal and active listening skills
- Exceptional relationship-building, networking and presentation skills with the confidence to engage audiences of varying sizes
- Ability to identify market opportunities, analyze data and translate insights into effective growth strategies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn and effectively utilize Salesforce for lead management and reporting
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds
- Membership in GSUSA is required upon employment and annually thereafter
- Ability to work primarily within the assigned territory with limited office time
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and automobile insurance
