About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work closely with the VP of Sales Performance and the Executive Team to set the sales strategy
  • Manage up to 8 Regional Directors of Sales
  • Responsible for a portfolio of 45 to 60 hotels to ensure successful execution of their sales plans
  • Develop and lead a team of sales “hunters”
  • Establish and build relationships with key brand partners and hotel owners and General Managers
  • Drive accountability by driving sales performance and providing effective coaching
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to the VP of Sales Performance and Executive Team
  • Create remarkable client experiences, manage client expectations, and maintain a high level of client and employee satisfaction
  • Develop key relationships and when necessary, travel for in-person meetings with clients and partners

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3-5 years of Director of Sales experience in a regional role overseeing a Select Service portfolio
  • Success in leading a high performing sales team focused on revenue generation and sales performance
  • Experience leading a team of 8+ salespeople in a remote environment
  • Proficiency using a CRM and analyzing data to evaluate sales performance
  • Expertise in hiring and onboarding sales associates
  • Persuasive communication and ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrates a deep commitment to company culture and caring for its employees and clients
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Experience working in a remote home office environment
  • Ability to work from your home office at a computer for extended periods of time
