About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work closely with the VP of Sales Performance and the Executive Team to set the sales strategy.
  • Manage up to 8 Regional Directors of Sales and responsible for a portfolio of 45 to 60 hotels.
  • Proactively develop and lead a team of sales “hunters”.
  • Encourage, support and motivate Team through Bi-Weekly One on One’s and Team Meetings.
  • Establish and build relationships with key brand partners and hotel owners.
  • Drive accountability by driving sales performance and providing effective coaching.
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to the VP of Sales Performance and Executive Team.
  • Create remarkable client experiences, manage client expectations.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3-5 years of Director of Sales experience in a regional role overseeing a Select Service portfolio.
  • Success in leading a high performing sales team focused on revenue generation and sales performance.
  • Experience leading a team of 8+ salespeople in a remote environment.
  • Proficiency using a CRM and analyzing data to evaluate sales performance.
  • Expertise in hiring and onboarding sales associates.
  • Persuasive communication and ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates a deep commitment to company culture and caring for its employees and clients.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Experience working in a remote home office environment.
  • Ability to work from your home office at a computer for extended periods of time.
