Executive Director of Sales
GillisExecutive Director of Sales leading sales strategy at Gillis to enhance revenue for hotel owners. Managing a team of sales directors and driving performance for a portfolio of hotels.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work closely with the VP of Sales Performance and the Executive Team to set the sales strategy.
- Manage up to 8 Regional Directors of Sales and responsible for a portfolio of 45 to 60 hotels.
- Proactively develop and lead a team of sales “hunters”.
- Encourage, support and motivate Team through Bi-Weekly One on One’s and Team Meetings.
- Establish and build relationships with key brand partners and hotel owners.
- Drive accountability by driving sales performance and providing effective coaching.
- Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to the VP of Sales Performance and Executive Team.
- Create remarkable client experiences, manage client expectations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5 years of Director of Sales experience in a regional role overseeing a Select Service portfolio.
- Success in leading a high performing sales team focused on revenue generation and sales performance.
- Experience leading a team of 8+ salespeople in a remote environment.
- Proficiency using a CRM and analyzing data to evaluate sales performance.
- Expertise in hiring and onboarding sales associates.
- Persuasive communication and ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrates a deep commitment to company culture and caring for its employees and clients.
- Effective presentation skills.
- Experience working in a remote home office environment.
- Ability to work from your home office at a computer for extended periods of time.
