About the role
- Work closely with the VP of Sales Performance and the Executive Team to set the sales strategy
- Manage up to 8 Regional Directors of Sales and responsible for a portfolio of 45 to 60 hotels
- Proactively develop and lead a team of sales “hunters” by demonstrating proper sales strategies and techniques
- Encourage, support and motivate Team through Bi-Weekly One on One’s and Team Meetings
- Establish and build relationships with key brand partners and hotel owners and General Managers within your team’s portfolio
- Drive accountability by driving sales performance and providing effective coaching to implement improvements and retain clients
- Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to the VP of Sales Performance and Executive Team
- Create remarkable client experiences, manage client expectations, and maintain a high level of client and employee satisfaction
Requirements
- 3-5 years of Director of Sales experience in a regional role overseeing a Select Service portfolio
- Success in leading a high performing sales team focused on revenue generation and sales performance
- Experience leading a team of 8+ salespeople in a remote environment
- Proficiency using a CRM and analyzing data to evaluate sales performance
- Expertise in hiring and onboarding sales associates
- Persuasive communication and ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrates a deep commitment to company culture and caring for its employees and clients
- Effective presentation skills
- Experience working in a remote home office environment
- Ability to work from your home office at a computer for extended periods of time
