About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Raise brand and product awareness of Gildan’s suite of products by promoting the Gildan Advantage (quality, value, availability and CSR) to distributor sales reps and their customer base.
  • Provide recommendations and guidance to Gildan’s management group based on analysis of market related to distributors, competitors, and general industry.
  • Train Gildan’s distributor sales teams and their top customers on the Gildan Advantage (quality, value, availability and CSR).
  • Provide recommendations and guidance to Gildan’s management group from in depth marketing analysis and expertise.
  • Prepare content for customer-facing events and training sessions.
  • Develop strong relationships with the distributor sales teams and their respective key customers.
  • Analyse any feedback given and process it accordingly.
  • Represent Gildan at events such as trade shows, open houses, sales meetings, virtual meetings and supplier panels to attract potential customers.
  • Implement corporate and distributor Gildan brand marketing campaigns.
  • Act as a liaison between the Gildan KAE, distributor sales teams and Gildan marketing; work with sales and marketing teams to come up with unique strategies to market Gildan’s products to the market.
  • Research and analyse information and market intelligence regarding our position as it relates to distributors, competitors and the industry in general through end-user calls.
  • Analyse brand strengths, target market, target customers to offer guidance on progress forward.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University Degree and 5-7 years of experience, such as apparel buying, apparel merchandising & design, apparel sales with corporate retail or printwear experience preferred.
