Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for Engineering and Optimization of the regional network backbones and corresponding venue networks
Define, document and enforce network standards
Engage directly with network equipment suppliers
Augment network design concepts
Configure all network elements
Turn-up & test new network & corresponding services
Assist in the execution of vendor evaluations
Lead/execute Proof of Concept (POC) tests
Create and maintain technical relationships with vendors
Develop and hone necessary skills associated with IP networking
Interact with various inter and intra departmental peer groups
Execute assigned tasks within assigned timeframes and budgets
Provide guidance/ mentor less experienced agents/technicians

What you’ll need

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or industry equivalent professional certification (preferred)
Certified Wireless Network Professional (CWNP) certification preferred
Proficiency with MikroTik and Juniper Networks products required
Experience as a leader within a service provider Network Architecture or Network Engineering group
