About the role

  • Are you ready to help shape the world of tomorrow with us?
  • Join our Operations team as a Project Engineer (all genders) PV and take a key role in the technical conception of our commercial PV projects across Germany.
  • Together with our Commercial and Operations teams, you will develop economically and technically optimal solutions for our customers.
  • Own the technical feasibility analysis as part of the offer preparation process.
  • Develop the technically and economically optimal system design together with internal and external specialists.
  • Analyze site conditions and grid connection options and assess technical risks.
  • Coordinate closely with customer contacts and clarify project-relevant questions.
  • Review technical and economic feasibility together with EPC partners.
  • Monitor project progress, create transparency and initiate measures in case of delays.
  • Continuously optimize internal processes, tools and technical standards.
  • Support the selection and qualification of new partner companies.
  • Share your knowledge within the team and mentor less-experienced colleagues.

Requirements

  • University degree in engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable technical qualification
  • Several years of relevant professional experience as a Project Engineer, technical planner or in a similar role with a focus on PV planning/development
  • Very good knowledge of common PV planning tools as well as relevant laws and standards
  • Experience managing external service providers, including technical and economic evaluation
  • Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style
  • Strong customer and service orientation and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Very good German and good English language skills
  • Willingness to travel within Germany
