About the role

  • Get to know our IT system landscape, cloud platforms, and internal processes
  • Support daily IT operations and take on initial user support tasks
  • Monitor performance of our core systems and report irregularities to management
  • Provide first-level support for colleagues — e.g. password resets, login issues, or access requests
  • Assist in diagnosing hardware, software, and network issues
  • Maintain and manage user accounts (creation, modification, deactivation) across our systems and applications
  • Keep an eye on potential security incidents and report suspicious access attempts
  • Document system configurations, processes, and incidents in a structured manner
  • Track recurring problems and propose improvement suggestions
  • Help create simple technical guides for end users
  • Assist new employees with workstation, printer, or mobile device setup
  • Participate in smaller IT projects as needed, e.g. network upgrades or migrations

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in (business) informatics, information engineering, or a related field
  • Some practical experience in IT support, helpdesk, or system administration is desirable
  • Basic understanding of networking, IT security, and cloud environments (e.g. Microsoft 365, Google Workspace)
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
  • Enjoy helping colleagues with technical questions
  • Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
