About the role
- Responsible for the complete operational procurement of machines, components and spare parts within the assigned purchasing area
- Independently place purchase orders and ensure deliveries in the correct quantities and on schedule
- Monitor product availability and actively manage inventory levels
- Work closely with internal departments such as strategic procurement, project management, sales and logistics
- Act as the point of contact for our suppliers
- Extensive work with SAP and SAP Consulting Solutions; responsible for SAP master data as well as procurement-related analyses and key performance indicators
- Actively contribute to the optimization and digitalization of our procurement processes
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training
- Several years of relevant professional experience and methodological expertise in operational purchasing or a comparable commercial environment
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Strong SAP and MS Office skills and a confident user of IT systems and digital applications; experience with S/4HANA and SAP Consulting Solutions is an advantage
- Enjoy working as a competent point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Independent, reliable and solution-oriented working style, with a willingness to take on new topics and help shape innovative solutions
- High level of commitment, flexibility and team orientation
