About the role
- Examination of the chemical and physical properties of paper and threads during production to assess quality
- Carrying out special paper tests independent of ongoing production
- Preparation and follow-up of work orders, in particular checking the feasibility of specifications
- Careful and structured documentation and evaluation of all measurement data
- Performing measurement tasks as part of production control in wet chemistry and calibrating selected testing equipment
Requirements
- Successfully completed training as a Paper Technologist (m/f/d) or an equivalent qualification
- Ideally, professional experience in testing/inspection or in a laboratory environment
- Strong quality awareness
- Reliable, flexible and responsible team-oriented working style
- Confident user of Microsoft applications: Outlook, Excel and Word
- Experience with SAP or related applications is an advantage
