About the role
- Design and conceive comprehensive security solutions for banknote printing facilities, cash centers, central bank data centers and comparable high-security sites
- Plan intrusion alarm systems, video and video analytics systems, access control and PSIM — from initial concept through Detailed Engineering
- Prepare technical specifications, functional and interface descriptions, and provide support for tendering/procurement processes
- Provide technical oversight and quality assurance of security integrators worldwide — including corrective actions and fine-tuning where necessary
- Assume (partial) project management responsibilities during critical project phases
- Provide technical advice to our Security Managers and actively further develop our security standards
Requirements
- Degree in Security & Safety Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or a comparable STEM discipline; alternatively, a relevant technical vocational qualification
- At least 5 years of experience in planning or managing complex security or infrastructure projects, ideally with international exposure
- Solid knowledge in several areas: intrusion alarm systems, video surveillance/video analytics, access control, control room/PSIM
- Plus: experience with fire alarm systems or fire protection planning, and with video analytics and security-relevant AI
- Enjoy explaining complex technology clearly, taking responsibility and leading international teams
- Very good English; German is an advantage; willingness to travel
