About the role
- You advise the sales team on feasibility during tendering processes regarding all printing processes, and handle complaints in coordination with production, being responsible for quality-related statements
- You support production and our departments on all quality-related matters
- You actively participate in internal audits and assist with external certifications
- Close collaboration with production, development and suppliers to prevent defects is important to you
- You prepare and conduct training for employees on quality-relevant topics
- You are open to occasional assignments outside our head office, nationally and internationally
Requirements
- Degree in Printing Technology, Quality Management, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in quality assurance, ideally in the printing or packaging industry
- Solid knowledge of quality standards and legal requirements, e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 14298, ISO 45001, ISO 50001
- Legal requirements for sustainability/environment
- Legal requirements for energy
- Analytical mindset, structured working methods, and strong problem-solving skills, as well as experience in audits and quality management
- Six Sigma, 8D methodology, FMEA, and shop floor management
- Confident use of common QM tools and MS Office
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
