About the role
- Design and architect comprehensive security solutions for banknote printing facilities, cash centers, central bank data centers and comparable high-security sites
- Planning of intruder alarm systems, video and video analytics systems, access control and PSIM — from initial concept through detailed engineering
- Preparation of technical specifications, functional and interface descriptions, and support for tender processes
- Technical oversight and quality review of security integrators worldwide — including corrections and refinements where necessary
- Assuming (partial) project management responsibilities during critical phases
- Technical advisory support to our Security Managers and active further development of our security standards
Requirements
- Degree in Security & Safety Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or a comparable STEM discipline; alternatively relevant technical vocational training
- At least 5 years of experience in planning or managing complex security or infrastructure projects, ideally with international exposure
- Solid expertise in multiple areas: intruder alarm systems, video surveillance/video analytics, access control, control room/PSIM
- Plus: experience with fire alarm systems or fire protection planning, as well as with video analytics and safety-relevant AI
- Enjoy explaining complex technology clearly, taking ownership and leading international teams
- Very good English; German is an advantage; willingness to travel
