About the role

  • Independent installation, inspection, maintenance and repair of technically advanced banknote processing and packaging systems domestically and internationally
  • Repairs, maintenance, testing and upgrades of BPS systems in-house
  • Supervision and documentation of acceptance tests in-house or at customer sites
  • Fault analysis and diagnosis, and implementation of corrective measures to resolve malfunctions
  • Installation and use of remote diagnostics and maintenance systems
  • Systematic documentation of all service activities
  • Customer instruction and training
  • Management of spare parts and consumables

Requirements

  • Successfully completed technical degree or training as a technician (m/f/d) in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automation technology or information technology
  • Ideally several years of experience in technical service, preferably in an international environment
  • Willingness to travel extensively, primarily within Europe
  • Basic knowledge of German and good command of English
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications (Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Strong service orientation
  • Independent, structured and results-oriented working style
