About the role

  • You ensure product and process quality and continuously improve both.
  • You convert complaints into timely, sustainable problem resolutions.
  • You design an effective and efficient inspection/test architecture and ensure its implementation.
  • You manage the quality of subcontractors and suppliers.
  • You ensure transparency of the quality situation from the shop floor to top management.
  • You establish an accepted and respected process environment that performs well in internal and external audits.
  • You may audit at other locations, potentially globally, and adopt best practices.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
  • Professional experience: 3–5 years in a relevant position.
  • Additional qualifications: Certification as QMF (Qualitätsmanagement-Fachkraft / Quality Management Specialist) and QMB (Qualitätsmanagement-Beauftragter / Quality Management Representative).
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured working style.
  • A pragmatic implementer with enthusiasm for operational execution.
  • Business-fluent German and English, spoken and written.
  • Experience in the following areas desirable: audit and quality management, Six Sigma, Reliability Engineering, 8D methodology, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), SFM (Shopfloor Management).
