About the role
- Coordination of tradeshow booths including event planning, completing event contracts, logistics, and production of collateral
- Develop, maintain and update event software, databases, and shared documents, ensuring all team members have visibility into goals and success metrics for each event
- Support cross-functional alignment between Sales and Marketing teams pre-, during, and post-event
- Track performance metrics and evaluate ROI to continuously improve event strategy
- Build strong relationships with event organizers, vendors, sponsors, and service providers and act as primary contact for all event-related services and requests
- Develop and coordinate promotional materials and campaigns, booth assets, branded giveaways, collateral, and presentation materials
- Research of events, attendees, sponsors, and competitors
- Coordinating travel and accommodation arrangements for team members
- Organization and submission of tradeshow related expenses
- Webinar planning and execution, pre-, during, and post-webinar
- Podcast outreach, scheduling, research, production, editing, and publishing
- Maintenance of the events, podcast, and webinar web pages
- Other events and marketing tasks as required.
Requirements
- One (1) to three (3) years of B2B tradeshow/ event planning and management experience
- Bachelor’s degree or certificate in event planning, business, marketing, communications, or a related field
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Strong written and oral communication abilities
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Proven ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously
- Self-motivated independent worker, with the ability to take direction and meet tight deadlines
- Learning mindset, eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook), and AI tools
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is an asset
- Experience with database management and Power BI is an asset
- Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar CRM tools is an asset
- Availability to travel internationally
