About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete setup and maintenance of pricing and promotional event data within Buying Events Advertising systems
- Identify, correct, and escalate promotional and event data errors and risks through validation, reporting, and quality assurance processes
- Apply updates to promotional events based on input from Buying and Marketing
- Prepare promotional documentation to support event execution processes
- Test Buying Events Advertising system updates and enhancements
- Identify and escalate system issues to support accurate event setup
Requirements
What you’ll need- Postsecondary education
- Minimum 2 years of corporate retail or promotional execution experience
- Experience working with data entry, systems, or tools such as AS400 in a high-volume environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data or setup issues
- Ability to learn and apply new systems and processes quickly
- Intermediate experience using Microsoft Excel or similar tools for data management
- Experience in pricing, promotions, or flyer execution is an asset
- Experience working cross-functionally in retail environments is an asset
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and maintain authorization for the duration of employment
- Giant Tiger does not sponsor work permits
