About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor assigned entry folders and prioritize shipments by ETA for timely submission to customs.
- Process entries for ocean, air, truck, and rail shipments.
- Handle in-bonds, AES filings, prior notices, manifests, and ISF submissions.
- Review documentation to ensure complete entry packages before processing.
- Communicate internally and externally with carriers, vendors, and clients via phone and email.
- Monitor entry dashboards and escalate “moment of truth” issues to the Production Manager.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completion of Grade 12 Education
- Prior Brokerage Services/Logistics Experience Preferred
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to represent GHY professionally and collaborate effectively.
- Strong prioritization skills in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
