Author analytic specifications (logic definitions, business rules, transformation requirements, edge cases, test scenarios, data quality checks) for engineering handoff.
Identify and triage data quality and lineage issues; recommend remediation and guardrails.
Translate findings into clear narratives and recommendations for product, engineering, operations, and leadership.
Evaluate model or logic performance using sound statistical checks and sanity-testing.
Partner cross‑functionally (Product, Data Engineering, Data Science) and mentor analysts on patterns, definitions, and best practices.
Develop internal and potentially external BI dashboards to visualize analytical results.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
8+ years in an analytical role working with large, messy, real‑world datasets.
Mastery of SQL and strong experience in a cloud data warehouse (Snowflake preferred).
Solid understanding of statistical concepts (e.g., distributions, sampling, significance, variability, error checking) applied in analytical work.
Demonstrated ability to structure ambiguous problems and deliver actionable recommendations with measurable outcomes.
