About the role

  • Draft and manage a variety of customer-facing contracts including User Agreements, SOWs, Order Forms, amendments, renewals, and other contract-related documents.
  • Ensure all contracts are drafted accurately and efficiently, in compliance with internal turnaround times and approval workflows.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management, Consulting, Legal, Implementation, Accounting and Finance.
  • Manage deals within the Contract Operations queue and ensure accuracy of quotations and deal rescoping.
  • Review and negotiate contract redlines in collaboration with Legal, Sales, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Understand and apply go-to-market strategies, product offerings, and processes when advising sales on deal structure.
  • Maintain high throughput to meet established turnaround time SLAs and deliver operational support across contract lifecycle.
  • Ensure quoting and contracting systems are up to date throughout the sales cycle to ensure data integrity.
  • Proactively identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to efficiency initiatives.
  • Support creation, refinement, and maintenance of internal documentation and assist with special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Skilled at collaborating effectively across diverse business functions to drive results.
  • Demonstrates strong initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with a keen ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
  • Familiar with standard contract and legal document structures and processes.
  • Strong critical thinking abilities, particularly in analyzing and interpreting complex contract language.
  • Experienced in using software workflow applications, such as Salesforce.com (CRMs) and Icertis (CLMs).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with a solid understanding of advanced features.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or a combination of education and related experience.
  • 3 years of experience in contracts management or related experience including sales operations, project management, customer support, financial analysis.
  • Experience with pricing software such as Conga CPQ (Apttus) (preferred)
  • Background in software as a service strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of product and services pricing, accounting and financial principles
