About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer employee benefits and coordinate with third-party vendors
- Manage leave of absence programs, accommodations, and related documentation
- Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation programs
- Interpret and communicate HR policies and procedures
- Respond to employee HR inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality
- Manage offboarding processes, including documentation and system updates
- Support recruiting efforts through interview coordination and candidate communication
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Assist with performance review cycles and HR projects focused on process improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of HR experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment supporting multiple offices
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (ADP experience preferred)
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy
