About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and HRIS data
- Support recruiting and onboarding, including job postings, interview scheduling, background checks, offer letters, and new hire orientation
- Assist with payroll, benefits, leave administration, and performance review documentation
- Coordinate HR meetings, training sessions, and employee communications
- Track compliance training, acknowledgments, and required employment documentation
- Support I-9 and E-Verify processes
- Edit and maintain HR policies, procedures, forms, and internal resources
- Assist with special projects and other HR initiatives as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (ADP experience preferred)
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
