About the role
- Handle bank communications, including account setup and certificate of deposit (CD) management.
- Coordinate with financial institutions for a variety of banking needs.
- Establish financial setups for new accounts and maintain an accurate chart of accounts.
- Oversee and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Demonstrate proficiency across all accounting functions, including bank reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with established policies and develop new procedures as needed.
- Make informed decisions that support accurate financial management.
- Conduct audits of financial documents and resolve discrepancies effectively.
- Evaluate and enhance the efficiency of accounting systems and procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and general ledger summaries.
- Manage multiple financial accounts across various entities.
- Supervise and develop a team of accounting professionals to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats to support effective financial reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related field) required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management or senior accounting role.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software; familiarity with Cinc Systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead initiatives and manage multiple priorities with precision.
