About the role
- Lead day-to-day accounting functions including general ledger, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Manage and review AP/AR, fixed assets, inventory accounting, and cost allocations
- Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal controls, identifying and implementing process improvements
- Partner with Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to support business decisions and financial transparency
- Mentor and develop accounting team members, delegating tasks effectively while providing guidance
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic planning
- Drive ERP utilization and enhancements to streamline workflows and improve data accuracy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)
- Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
- Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills
