About the role
- Lead all aspects of HR, including talent management, employee relations, performance development, and compliance.
- Partner with leadership to design and implement people strategies that align with business goals.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers on organizational development, engagement, and retention strategies.
- Oversee HR policies, procedures, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Manage HR systems, analytics, and reporting to support data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong background in employee relations, organizational design, and performance management.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
- Deep understanding of California and multi-state employment law.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field required; SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred.
- Start-up industry experience preferred.
