About the role
- Be the product champion, key point of contact, and resident expert for our Satellite/Air sensor capabilities; field majority of product related inquiries from clients and client-facing teams.
- Understand how segment priorities and use cases translate into product level capabilities to inform and design client experiences and features.
- Create and maintain competitive analysis and positioning by product line; perform SWOT analysis.
- Partner with science and engineering teams to define and build scalable technical solutions.
- Guide feature prioritization based on technical feasibility and customer impact.
- Advocate for user experience and customer-centric product development.
- Act as the primary liaison between Product Strategy segment leads and internal technical teams.
- Lead system architecture definition, focusing on data ingestion and transformation.
- Transform client segment roadmaps into product roadmaps.
- Contribute to business case development by providing key inputs into the ROI analysis.
- Execute on backlog and prioritized key initiatives; drive the E2E product lifecycle including ideation, design, development, testing, launch, and iteration.
- Define and monitor KPIs to measure product success and performance.
- Ensure timely delivery of product releases while managing risks and dependencies; report out on progress of initiatives, update roadmaps and timeliness as necessary.
- Leverage business intelligence and sales data to evaluate product adoption, e.g. usage metrics, client feedback, sales performance.
- Conduct product profitability analysis on an annual basis.
- Communicate the product vision across teams and stakeholders.
- Create and maintain product documentation including requirements, specifications, product 1-pagers and release notes.
- Present product updates and roadmaps to executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Support product design workshops and customer meetings to refine system and user requirements.
Requirements

- Experience with data-driven architectures and cloud-based data management.
- Proven ability to work with multiple software and hardware development teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines with adaptability and multitasking skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technically oriented discipline.
- 6–8+ years of experience in technical product management or related roles.
- Experience with functional modeling and engineering requirements management tools.
- Familiarity with test-driven development and iterative delivery.
