About the role

  • Own demand generation and pipeline creation
  • Build and execute programs that generate qualified pipeline for the sales team
  • Develop campaigns that support both inbound demand and outbound prospecting efforts with the BDR and sales teams
  • Launch targeted account based programs focused on municipal governments across North America
  • Position Govstack as a leading voice in the GovTech space through thought leadership, industry insights, and executive content
  • Develop programs that bring municipal leaders together through peer events, roundtables, and industry conversations
  • Drive visibility and credibility within the municipal government community
  • Work closely with sales leadership to ensure marketing is tightly aligned to pipeline and revenue goals
  • Build programs that support new logo acquisition and long term customer expansion
  • Measure marketing performance through pipeline generated, influenced revenue, and campaign ROI
  • Own the broader marketing function including brand, messaging, events, and product marketing
  • Build and develop a high performing marketing team focused on measurable growth outcomes
  • Partner with product leadership to ensure messaging clearly communicates the value Govstack delivers to municipalities

Requirements

  • 10 plus years of experience in B2G SaaS marketing with a strong emphasis on demand generation and pipeline creation
  • Proven ability to generate measurable pipeline for a sales led organization
  • Strong understanding of marketing metrics including pipeline contribution, CAC, and revenue attribution
  • Experience leading marketing teams in high growth SaaS environments
  • Experience working with public sector or regulated industries is a strong asset
