About the role

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for Jira and Confluence, including troubleshooting, incident management, and user requests.
  • Administer and maintain Atlassian Cloud environments, including configurations, workflows, schemas, automations, and permissions.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Jira/Confluence and other enterprise tools using Java microservices, REST APIs, and webhooks.
  • Support the deployment and maintenance of Atlassian plugins and apps, ensuring compliance with internal security and architecture standards.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to continuously improve the Atlassian ecosystem by proposing automations, enhancements, and standardizations.
  • Monitor performance, logs, and alerts for the tools, acting proactively to prevent incidents.
  • Support change management and communications regarding updates, maintenance, and new features.
  • Document technical procedures, integrations, and support workflows.

Requirements

  • Proven experience supporting Jira and Confluence (Cloud and/or Data Center).
  • Strong knowledge of Java and microservices (Spring Boot preferred).
  • Experience with REST APIs, JSON, integrations, and automations between enterprise systems.
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and versioning best practices.
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL).
  • Experience with Atlassian Marketplace, Automations, and ScriptRunner is desirable.
  • Technical English for reading and communicating with global teams.
