About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide onsite support services for the Vacuum Truck Services Division
- Assist with hydro excavating, confined space entry, spill cleanup, line flushing, and power washing
- Assist with loading and hauling various fluids and materials
- Safely operate equipment in an industrial setting
- Perform physically demanding, labour-based tasks
- Professionally represent GFL and provide exceptional service to clients
- Participate in safety meetings, last minute risk assessments, and job hazard assessments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Valid Driver’s License
- General safety knowledge, experience and awareness
- H2S certification required prior to start date
- Confined Space Entry certification required prior to start date
- Fall Arrest certification required prior to start date
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to perform high labour intensity tasks in a team environment
- Positive, self-motivated attitude
- Valid work authorization in Canada; GFL does not provide visa sponsorship
