Account Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Promote, sell, and preserve GFL’s solid waste services to commercial and industrial businesses
- Meet face-to-face with current and prospective customers
- Conduct waste stream analyses
- Prepare competitive sales contracts
- Deliver presentations to major accounts
- Participate in local business meetings and conferences
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2–3 years of proven sales experience (knowledge of the solid waste industry is a huge plus!)
- Bachelor’s degree (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
- A valid state driver's license
- Comfort level with extended periods of driving and territory travel.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work seamlessly under limited supervision
