About the role
- Customer support & problem resolution
- Telephone and written support of our hospitality customers
- Analyze, diagnose and independently resolve technical inquiries
- Support with usage and configuration questions (POS, online reservation & ordering systems, payment, digital tools)
- Structured documentation in the ticketing system
- Setup, testing and configuration of POS systems as well as hardware and software
- Management of interfaces (payment, accounting, online ordering systems, kitchen processes)
- Fault analysis involving networks, peripherals and cloud applications
- Application support for digital process workflows
- Best-practice recommendations for the optimal use of our solutions
- Close collaboration with engineering, project management and sales
- On-call duty from 17:00–22:00 and on weekends & public holidays with additional compensation
Requirements
- Experienced professionals or career changers with hospitality experience
- Experience in the hospitality industry or technical training in IT (e.g. IT specialist, IT support, system integration)
- Basic technical understanding – ideally in POS systems, networks or cloud solutions
- Strong willingness to learn and interest in digital processes
- German language skills at C1 level
- Friendly, reliable communication – also in stressful situations
- Solution-oriented working style and personal responsibility
- Team spirit and enjoyment of customer contact
- Willingness to perform occasional field service or customer training
