Product Specialist/Senior Product Specialist
Getz Healthcare Australia & New ZealandProduct Specialist responsible for achieving sales targets and developing customer relationships in healthcare industry. Preparing sales plans and conducting workshops in assigned territories.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Initiate, promote and develop sales opportunities for the assigned products and achieve the desired growth in revenue in line with the Company’s sales and income target.
- Prepare sales plan and secure orders for the Company’s products, solutions and services to achieve the assigned sales and income target.
- Identify and establish new customers and business opportunities to ensure successful market penetration.
- Expand customer base and maximize market coverage in the designated geographical areas.
- Carry out product/technical briefings, workshops or demonstrations to customers in a professional manner, and attend to customers’ enquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Organize, support and participate in cases, workshops and conferences which may take place outside regular working hours/days.
- Provide efficient and effective service/support to maintain customer confidence in the reputation of the products and services offered by the Company.
- Fully utilize the Company’s CRM platform to submit up-to-date sales, activities and opportunities reports.
- Ensure sales to customers are within the company’s payment and credit terms.
- Assist in monitoring customer payments to minimize risks of potential bad debts.
- Adhere to the Group and Company's policies and compliance with GDPMD & ISO9001:2015 policies and safe work procedures.
- Prepared to take on and cover geographical areas as assigned and other responsibilities/tasks as required by Management.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelors’ degree or Diploma in Health Sciences or related field preferred.
- At least 2 years’ experience in healthcare/medical equipment is preferred.
- New Bachelors’ degree holders with the relevant qualification may be considered.
- Experience in critical care, emergency and surgical will be an added advantage to have but not essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good interpersonal and time-keeping skills & a strong team player.
- Strong business acumen and a high level of conscientiousness, resourcefulness, influencing, negotiation, communication, collaborative and interpersonal skills.
- Possess the passion to win in a results-oriented environment.
- Strong selling skills with good persuasive and negotiation skills.
- Good communications skills, fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Possess own car with valid Driver’s license.
- Successful candidate will be required to cover Johor/KL territories.
- Experienced in cardiology/interventional radiology/vascular/colorectal/general surgery.
