About the role
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Analyst to join our Indirect Tax team. This role is responsible for managing indirect tax compliance processes across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring timely and accurate filings and payments. The Senior Analyst will support audits, respond to tax inquiries, and contribute to cross-functional and technology-driven projects.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, VAT/GST knowledge, and a drive to innovate and enhance compliance and reporting processes.
- Our global Finance team provides expertise and access to financial and operational data and insights across seven key functional areas: Accounting and Reporting Tax Financial Planning and Analysis Finance Operations Business Intelligence Treasury Investor Relations. Across these functions, the Finance team analyzes and reports on our past financial performance while utilizing that information along with key metrics to help plan for our future business decisions. The team collectively provides accurate financial reporting and data to ensure growth, achievement of financial goals, disciplined planning for the future, financial risk mitigation and compliance, and the optimization of the deployment of our capital resources.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of VAT/GST or indirect tax experience; experience in both public accounting and industry is a plus.
- Comprehensive expertise in indirect tax compliance, including VAT return preparation, tax reporting, and invoicing requirements.
- High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in tax filings and reconciliations.
- Ability to independently interpret and apply VAT/GST legislation to business scenarios.
- Capable of adapting quickly to changing regulations and business needs.
- Familiar with complex general ledger/accounting systems (Oracle or equivalent).
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
