About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Run discovery, map incident history and field-reported issues, identify risks and blind spots, define Trust & Safety scope, and deliver a leadership-ready program proposal
- Own the Trust & Safety roadmap, including fixes, initiatives, launch dates, training milestones, and continuing education
- Author and maintain policies, emergency response and escalation workflows, incident reporting and investigation standards, and post-incident reviews
- Source, evaluate, pilot, deploy, and manage adoption of safety solutions such as body cameras, panic buttons, and pre-shift vehicle checks
- Build and run field education through huddles, lunch and learns, in-app content, written materials, and audio
- Partner with Legal and Privacy on recording, monitoring, patient identification, and data collection programs
- Serve as the escalation point for serious incidents and coordinate responses across People, Field Operations, Clinical, and Legal
- Define and report metrics including incident rate and severity, response time, training completion and engagement, workers’ compensation claims, and renewal outcomes
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years in trust & safety, workplace safety/EHS, risk, corporate security, or field operations
- 2+ years owning programs or leading people
- Experience supporting a distributed, in-person workforce
- Track record of building a function from zero
- Working knowledge of workplace safety and incident management, including injury response, investigation practices, OSHA recordkeeping, and workers’ compensation
- Experience partnering with Legal and Privacy on recording, employee monitoring, or PII/PHI handling
- Excellent written communication for policies, executive memos, and field-facing training modules
- Ability to drive adoption among frontline employees and earn trust with field teams
- Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing roadmaps with many dependencies
- Genuine care for people
- Nice to have: healthcare, home health, mobile phlebotomy, field services, or logistics experience
- Nice to have: familiarity with lone-worker safety technology
- Nice to have: CSP, ASP, or OHST certifications, or formal de-escalation and crisis intervention training
- Nice to have: education library or LMS curriculum experience
- Nice to have: multi-state employment law exposure
