About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the decarbonization and digital energy transition across Europe
- Responsible for procurement and supplier management in large, long-term projects
- Participate in identifying requirements and procuring materials and services
- Monitor product standardization and renegotiate framework agreements
- Proactive risk management and meticulous contract drafting
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree, ideally in industrial engineering, economics/business administration, or mechanical engineering
- Broad and extensive procurement experience, particularly in Category Management for indirect spend or capital goods in the industrial sector
- Experience in cost-saving and transformation projects in the energy sector is a plus
- Good SAP and MS Office skills
- Strong communication skills and advanced negotiation capabilities
- High analytical and conceptual abilities
- Willingness to travel approx. 20%
- Negotiation-level (business-fluent) proficiency in English AND in either German or Italian is mandatory
