About the role
- Basic and specialized treatment care for ventilated intensive care patients
- Preparation and follow-up of dialysis therapy
- Care and monitoring of patients' vital functions, including via monitoring systems
- Counseling and support for patients and their caregiving relatives in coping with health and illness
- Instruction of patients and caregiving relatives in the performance of necessary care tasks
- Preparation for and participation in team conferences
Requirements
- Completed 3-year nursing qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse)
- Completed advanced specialist training, e.g., Specialist Nurse in Intensive Care and Anaesthesia, or further training in anaesthesia, intensive care, or palliative care
- Experience in caring for neurologically affected patients is an advantage
