About the role
- You prepare the operating unit before and after procedures, including required instruments and equipment
- You assist in operations in both sterile and non-sterile roles
- You ensure professional, patient-centered care before and during surgery
- You work interdisciplinary with all involved professional groups to ensure smooth OR operations
- You contribute responsibly to quality management and the design of workflows and processes in the OR, observing legal accident prevention regulations, hygiene standards and the Medical Devices Act
Requirements
- You are an Operating Theatre Assistant (OTA) or a registered nurse — with a three-year nursing qualification (e.g., general nurse, health and nursing professional)
- You participate in shift work, on-call and standby systems and work on weekends and public holidays
- You are committed to providing collegial, practice-oriented training for our junior OR staff
