About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze customer releases in SAP and cascade requirements down to suppliers to ensure proper material flow and lean inventory maintained at the plant
- Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials as per customer releases and production scheduling
- Monitor and track the status of material, including past due, and escalate issues to the MP&L Manager regarding material availability as required
- Collaborate on cross-functional job tasks with other departments to ensure proper material flow between the departments
- Support other team members as needed and provide support and absence coverage for other Material Analysts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience required
- Experience in SAP
- Experience with Standard Work Systems
- Computer experience in Excel
