About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute daily operations of the Materials Department
Monitor production entry, receipts, scrap entry, and inventory levels
Coordinate flow of materials with other departments
Analyze cycle count adjustments and recommend improvements
Expedite incoming materials as required
Review weekly release data including Demand Management, MRP – SAP, and Eclipse
Monitor suppliers and carriers for timely deliveries
Communicate shipment requirements to shipping personnel
Ensure timely completion of shipping documents

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS in Operations Management, Logistics, or similar curriculum - or - 3+ years in scheduling/inventory control role
Experience supervising employees
Familiar with MRP and scheduling concepts, preferably SAP
Exceptional computer skills, particularly with Excel and Production and Inventory Control Systems
