Supplier Quality Engineer
GestampSupplier Quality Engineer responsible for managing quality management systems in the automotive sector. Overseeing supplier development, risk analysis, and quality audits within the company.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Implementation and maintenance of quality management systems
- Coordination of all document control actions in support of Quality Systems
- Supplier management and development
- Risk analysis and system audits
- Manage supplier claims, containments, and chargebacks
- Track quality indicators and provide action plans
Requirements
What you’ll need- Four-year college degree or equivalent experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
- IATF Certification and VDA Certification preferred
- Certified ISO/TS16949 Internal Auditor with a minimum of 3 years internal audit experience preferred
- Bi-lingual (Spanish or German) is a plus
- Working knowledge of AIAG Core Tools (PPAP, SPC, APQP, FMEA, MSA)
- Computer literacy and basic skill with MS Office Software, i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, at a minimum
