About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Together, we set the standard for modern board decisions.
As Product Owner (m/f/d) you are responsible for the operational management and continuous development of our Boardwise software product in an agile environment.
You act as the central interface between the business, stakeholders and development teams and ensure that requirements become concrete, actionable and value-creating product increments.
You actively drive the integration of AI technologies—particularly within the Microsoft ecosystem—and translate strategic goals into prioritized backlog items and tangible outcomes.
Ownership of the product backlog (maintenance, prioritization, refinement)
Translate requirements from business units and stakeholders into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
Ensure a continuous flow of value in a Kanban or agile working environment
Close collaboration with development teams, particularly within the Microsoft ecosystem (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure)
Actively manage and facilitate stakeholders across different organizational levels
Support the definition and ongoing development of the product vision and roadmap
Integration and further development of AI-based features in the product (e.g., Copilot, LLM-based features)
Collaborate with UX, Data and Engineering to continuously improve the user experience
Ensure the quality, usability and business impact of implemented features

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager or in a comparable role within a software environment
Working in an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban or similar) is natural for you
Experience in managing and prioritizing backlogs
Know-how in the Microsoft ecosystem (Microsoft 365, Azure, Microsoft-based application development)
Ability to translate business requirements into clear, technically implementable work packages
Experience in stakeholder management, including confident presence at management or executive board level
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management in German (C2) and English
