About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Respond to Level 2 and Level 3 support tickets for Protheus modules with emphasis on Financial, Tax, Billing, Inventory & Cost, Purchasing, Accounting, Fixed Assets and TOTVS Fiscal Automation (TAF), including log investigation, error analysis and escalation to the vendor (TOTVS) when necessary.
Gather requirements from key users, map processes, identify bottlenecks and propose technical or functional solutions.
Develop and maintain customizations following the Protheus MVC standard, including entry points, triggers, compatibility layers, screens and reports.
Create and manage users, access groups and routine profiles in the Configurator, ensuring segregation of duties and compliance with security policies.
Participate in projects and maintenance of integrations with corporate systems (CRM, e-commerce, logistics, BI) via REST and SOAP, as well as data import/export interfaces.
Configure and operate the Fiscal and Accounting modules to meet Brazilian statutory obligations, monitoring legislative changes and applying TOTVS legal packages.
Write SQL queries for auditing, data extraction, feeding BI dashboards, performance analysis and data correction.
Execute the weekly controlled release process for updates, new routines, fixes and reconfigurations across development, testing and production environments, ensuring traceability, rollback plans, prior communication to impacted areas and compliance with established maintenance windows.
Participate in the planning and execution of ERP implementation and upgrade projects.
Research and evaluate new solutions and technologies applicable to the ERP and the business.
Contribute to the preparation and analysis of IT indicators.
Maintain technical and functional documentation of customizations and processes.
Lead workshops and solution design sessions for the ERP.
Deliver training for the IT team and key users.
Participate in audits to ensure compliance with operational standards, the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and information security.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or Technologist degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related fields.
Minimum of 3 years working with the TOTVS Protheus ecosystem, with emphasis on Backoffice modules.
Proficiency in ADVPL and TLPP with mastery of the Protheus MVC pattern (version 12.1.2410 or higher), including data dictionary and standard table structure.
Proficiency with TOTVS Developer Studio for VS Code (TDS‑VSCode) for development, debugging and RPO management.
Advanced SQL skills for Microsoft SQL Server, including execution plan analysis and query tuning.
Solid functional knowledge in at least three of the following modules: Financial, Purchasing, Inventory & Cost, Billing, Tax, Accounting, Fixed Assets and TOTVS Fiscal Automation (TAF).
Experience with integrations via REST and SOAP web services, including JSON and XML handling.
Basic knowledge of Brazilian tax legislation as applied to ERP (EFD‑REINF, ECD, ECF, NF‑e and NFS‑e).
Awareness of LGPD and information security practices as applied to the ERP environment.
Advanced level Excel.
