About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Monitor international import shipments, ensuring visibility and adherence to deadlines
Keep shipment follow-up information up to date
Review and approve pre-shipment documentation (Proforma Invoice, Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, Drafts, among others)
Source international freight quotes for modes: Air, Sea, Multimodal (Sea-Air)
Support import analysts with operational routines and process control
Occasionally enter import processes into the Protheus ERP
Act as an interface with internal departments, customs brokers, EADI (bonded warehouses) and freight forwarders/agents

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Administration, International Trade, International Relations or similar fields
Intermediate English
Experience with import documentation such as Proforma Invoice, Invoice, Packing List, House AWB / BL, DI (Import Declaration), LI (Import License)
Intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
Previous experience with international freight, imports or international logistics
Experience in operational contact with freight forwarders and customs brokers
Experience with Protheus ERP is a plus
Familiarity with shipment tracking and deadline control is considered a plus
