About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Gathering and preparing financial data to maintain the general ledger for all Germania entities.
- Preparing bank reconciliations and ensuring accuracy across assigned accounts.
- Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including the NAIC Quarterly and Annual Statement.
- Completing personal auto statistical filings and verifying data submitted to statistical agents and Call Reports.
- Preparing estimated tax calculations for periodic remittance and financial statement recording.
- Compiling information and documentation requested by internal and external auditors.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; equivalent experience with a high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems preferred.
