About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Interact with customers and shop representatives
Determine testing and analysis requirements and review repair estimates
Perform diagnostic testing, programming, ADAS calibrations, and analysis
Perform wiring repairs and advise shops of needed repairs
Maintain inventory, communicate orders, and verify receipts
Write, print, and email service invoices
Collect signatures or payments for completed work
Deliver completed invoices and payments to the office
Maintain shop equipment, troubleshoot breakdowns, maintain supplies, and perform preventative maintenance
Advise management regarding equipment repairs
Keep Google Drive up to date
Collaborate with teammates to schedule and complete jobs according to PPT guidelines
Maintain the service vehicle
Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need

Knowledge of OE scan tools
Ability to learn new tools as needed
Knowledge of wiring repair procedures
Ability to service A/C systems
Diagnostic skills in the automotive trade
Basic computer knowledge, including email, spreadsheets, and messaging systems
Willingness and ability to update job knowledge through educational opportunities and technical publications
High school degree or GED equivalent required
4+ years of relevant automotive/electronic technician experience required
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities
