About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate and manage results for multiple collision repair locations within the Grand Rapids market
- Ensure consistent execution of the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan across all locations
- Coordinate location activities with General Managers
- Monitor capture rates and shop performance
- Hold staff accountable to company standards, mission, SOPs, and performance expectations
- Conduct daily load-leveling calls for the market
- Recruit, interview, and train new hires
- Coach staff and resolve customer concerns to ensure customer satisfaction
- Support continuous employee education and development
- Participate in external marketing and team-building activities
- Promote safe, clean working conditions and review audits and safety records
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment and document safety-policy violations
- Work with corporate staff on external growth of the assigned market
- Maintain internal reporting and communications to meet area business-plan objectives
- Review location performance against goals and coach managers
- Contact claims managers and dealer accounts at least monthly
- Conduct monthly operations reviews and in-person audits with location managers
- Develop relationships with area insurance contacts and other referral sources
- Ensure stores respond to clients in a timely manner
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of five years of experience in the collision repair industry
- Minimum of three years of management experience
- I-CAR Platinum certification preferred
- Estimating license if applicable in the state
- Ability to read and understand financial statements
- Extensive estimating experience
- Ability to fulfill the physical demands of the job, with reasonable accommodations available
