About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide an exceptional and successful customer experience through meticulous assessment and quality repair of vehicles
Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition
Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan
Plan necessary repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers
Use various tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair vehicles
Hammers out dents, dimples, and other minor body damage and apply filler resins when needed
Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage
Remove damaged sections and replace them with new or aftermarket parts
Inspect vehicles post-repair to ensure all work executed correctly

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent required
Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer
Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision
Ability to work with other repairers within an auto body shop
Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies
Thorough understanding of how to use tools required for the trade
