About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The Senior Product Marketing Manager is the storyteller and market-facing expert for Altitude’s transportation analytics products - a commercial vehicle data platform built on Geotab’s proprietary telematics network.
  • This role is a contributor to strategy + roadmap, and owner of growth leading to market launch of their products through orchestration of the marketing team.
  • This includes developing compelling product positioning and messaging, leading cross-functional teams to bring products to market successfully, and driving product adoption through targeted marketing campaigns and sales enablement.
  • They serve as the market expert, gathering competitive intelligence and customer insights to inform product roadmap and strategy, and act as a trusted advisor to product management, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Ultimately, they are accountable for driving growth and market leadership for their assigned product portfolio.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of work experience ideally in Product Marketing ideally in B2B or B2G SaaS, data analytics, transportation technology, smart cities, or geospatial intelligence (GIS). Proven track record with complex data products or platform services sold into enterprise or government buyers.
  • Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree specialization in Engineering, Business/Marketing, Computer Science or a related field highly valued.
  • Self starter, resourceful with strong analytical skills with the ability to problem-solve to well-judged decisions.
  • Proven ability to contribute to product marketing strategy and roadmap development, with a keen sense of priorities, along with an ability to pivot as the landscape changes.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong focus on deadlines and deliverables.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and market conditions.
  • Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate those needs into compelling product marketing strategies.
  • Experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members.
  • Ability to establish and optimize product marketing processes and standards.
  • Expertise in conducting in-depth competitive analysis and developing strategies to differentiate products.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.
