About the role
- Execute risk-based audit engagements across the entire audit lifecycle, from planning and fieldwork to testing
- Compile and present draft audit results to leadership and track Management Action Plans (MAPs) to ensure resolution
- Contribute to the lifecycle of an audit
- Execute specific audit procedures, including sampling and testing
- Provide guidance and training to junior team members on audit documentation and testing requirements
- Review the work of junior audit staff to ensure quality and compliance with departmental standards
- Liaise with internal teams on audits, risk management assessments, compliance attestations
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and identify key risks to support internal audit risk assessments
- Assist in the development of risk-based audit programs that align with corporate objectives
- Track and monitor Management Action Plans (MAPs)
- Maintain departmental resources
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in Internal or External Audit
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Certification as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) is a plus
- Knowledge and application of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards and practices
- Knowledge and application of artificial intelligence tools (e.g., Gemini, NotebookLM) to enhance internal audit processes
- Understanding the entire audit process (planning, risk assessment, execution, reporting) across financial, operational, and compliance domains
- Skills in guiding and training junior team members; reviewing work for quality and compliance
- Approximately 10% travel (between local offices, quarterly HQ visits, attending industry training, etc.) Must have a valid passport
