About the role
- Build the Safety SaaS frontend using React, Vite, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS
- Co-design and maintain the design system
- Implement state management, server state, forms, and i18n
- Build a custom video player and handle video streaming requirements
- Ship the UK videoverbalization MVP in production by end of June 2026
- Contribute directly to the France rollout and live videoverbalization
- Maintain unit test coverage above 85%
- Set up and maintain end-to-end tests
- Document conventions, contribution rules, and architectural decisions
- Onboard the 1-2 engineers joining in 2027
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced SaaS or scale-up environment
- Expert in modern React and its ecosystem: Zustand, TanStack Query, React Hook Form, advanced hooks, performance patterns
- Shipped a scalable frontend architecture before: design system, component library, reusability patterns
- Solid Node.js / TypeScript fundamentals
- Actively use AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot)
- Engineering degree is required
